Magnus Andersson i Huskvarna AB Adds Threespine® To Their Manufacturing Portfolio

Viken, Sweden

We are pleased to announce a new licensee in Sweden will begin producing furniture with our furniture click technology – Threespine® in the first quarter of 2022. Magnus Andersson i Huskvarna AB manufactures and supplies kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and furnishings to construction projects and building material outlets throughout Scandinavia. The company also produces private label products and manufactures furnishings under its own brand, ALBA.

A new machinery line from HOMAG is currently being installed at Magnus Andersson and will begin furniture production by March 2022.

“We see great opportunities for strong growth at Magnus Andersson i Huskvarna AB. A relatively small furniture manufacturer investing in new machines and technology to differentiate itself in the market to meet future demands. The fact that several retailers have already shown great interest and placed orders for products with Threespine at Magnus Andersson bodes well for the future,” says Johan Hallin KAM at Välinge Innovation.

The machine line, which is currently being fine-tuned by staff from Välinge and Thomas Frick AB (HOMAG, Sweden), is well equipped to produce all forms of cabinets, drawers, and storage furniture including Välinge’s Bed Concept with clicked and compact bed frames.

“The development of the company is good, and we have many exciting projects in the works, so we feel ready to grow and take the next step, which involves new investments to increase capacity and efficiency. We also see a great advantage of Threespine® in adding to the value chain and thereby increasing our competitiveness, says Magnus Anderson, owner and founder of the company.Soon the first order of clicked kitchens and wardrobes will be shipped from the factory in Huskvarna, followed by several large projects to be delivered with Threespine® in 2022.
